Kenderaan Berat Ikut Kiri

We were on the way to Gambang Water Park via East Cost Highway on Christmas eve 2011.  The traffic was quite heavy maklum la year end school holiday.  Macam biasa daddy memecut ala-ala F1 driver and maintain driving on the right lane most of the time.  As usual we have a police traffic in the car who always remind his daddy especially on the speed limit. On that day, Raiyyan learnt something new, the signboard says 'Kenderaan Berat Ikut Kiri'.  Apa lagi 'daddy! daddy kena drive sebelah kiri, car daddy ni beratttt Raiyyan pun tak boleh angkat tau!' Oh ye ke.  Then we asked 'habis kenderaan apa yang ringan?' and he said 'basikal.... Basikal kan ringan semua orang boleh angkat'

Dimana Mickey Mouse

One of the dreams of any child visiting Disneyland is a time for a face-to-face meeting with  Mickey Mouse & friends.  However, on our recent trip to Disneyland Paris, we were unfortunate enough that Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald or Minnie Mouse were nowhere to be seen!  Raiyyan and Erin were pretty disappointed. So we told them that Mickey Mouse was not feeling well on that day and kena tidur.  They all said, kesiannya Mickey.  Nevertheless they still enjoyed all the magical moments at the resort. And recently, Raiyyan watched Travelog Airasia at TV3, destinasinya Hong Kong Disneyland.  He eagerly came to me and said 'Mommy patut la Mickey Mouse tak de kat Disneyland Paris, dia ada kat Hong Kong Disneyland rupanya...' 

Semuanya Sudah Terlambat

Paris is said to be the city of lovers…the most romantic place on earth. Eiffel Tower is just simply c'est magnifique!! ♥ We're there for holiday in early Sept 2011 and intent to take kissing by the Eiffel Tower picture  kononnya.  People said, it is not advisable to give camera to others as they might 'blah' with it.  So we got Erin to do it.   The so-called romantic picture is the first and the only picture that Erin willing to snap (caught her by surprised actually) of us 'smooching' each other (pic is not available for public viewing haha).  Hence, no second time photo unless it is strictly no hugging or kissing. Well yesterday, I used the romantic picture as a wall photo for my iPhone. I showed to Erin and asked her 'Erin ingat tak picture ni' purposely to provoke her knowing that she is super duper jealous about us getting 'affectionate'. Then, dengan muka seposen 'Erin tak ingat la'. 'Alaa tak kan Erin tak ingat' Daddy pulak terus bikin panas.  After a while she started weeping and terus merajuk.  I said Mommy tukar gambar lain ok? She already covered her face with her blanket and said 'tak payah lah semuanya sudah terlambat'. Amboi! where she picks up such words. Then I showed new wall picture that I quickly changed. She raised her voice and said again 'semuanya sudah terlambat, sudah terlambat!!' she cried until tertido. Teringat lagu Shidee - Sayang semuanya sudah terlambat biarkan aku membawa diri ...

Belang-Belang

Year end school holiday is a looooong holiday all kids forward when they are in school. After 1 month at home, Erin started complaining 'bila nak school balik Mommy, I miss all my friends'. I said apalah Erin ni bila sekolah nak cuti, bila cuti nak sekolah.  She said, belang-belang la Mommy. Hah belang-belang? Apa tu? Ye lah today school, esok cuti, then school balik. Oooo selang-selang!  It just amazing of how kids pick up words that they hear and try to fit into their conversation.

Very Good vs Excellent

Before Erin's Math Monkey class, I promised her Tutti Frutti later if she gets 'very good' remark from her teacher. After class muka dia sedih dan frustrated. She said, teacher tak bagi very good, tapi teacher bagi excellent aje. Haha ... well, she enjoyed the yummy frozen yoghurt while mommy pulak dok explain the meaning of excellent to her.

Wicked & Evil Stepmother

Have been reading Snow White story book that Erin got for her 5th birthday present.  To scare Raiyyan and Erin further, I said that all stepmothers are wicked and evil (sorry to all good stepmothers out there). So I said, if Mommy dies, you will get a new stepmother living with you.  Erin first reaction 'aiyoyo.... macam mana ni abang kalau kita ada stepmother?'  Raiyyan stunt can't really answer her little sister. Both of them were mind-boggling about stepmother horror story. They keep asking me betul ke Mommy semua stepmothers are wicked?  Playing my part, I said yes they are all evil.  Then Erin whispered to my ears and asked 'how about stepfather?' Owh.... stepfather semua baik! Hehehe.

False Eye Lashes

Erin saw my false eye lashes and she asked kenapa mommy buy? Kan kita dah ada ni (sambil tunjuk eye lashes dia). Adoi! Nak cover sikit I said, Erin tak nak cantik ke. Dengan selamba dia jawab, Erin dah cantik dahhhh! Me, clueless...

Tooth Fairy

At 6 year old, Raiyyan's baby tooth was about to come off. The process of pulling out his tooth was a hard work because dia ni penakut yang teramat. To calm him down, we have to tell him about Tooth Fairy trick.  Well, managed to put his cavity free little tooth under his bob the builder pillow.  Next morning, he was really excited about RM5 that tooth fairy gave him.  At school, he told everybody about tooth fairy and RM5 in exchange for his tooth.  After school he called me in the office 'teacher cakap duit tu mak awak yang letak bawah bantal, betul ke Mommy?' Errr... what excused I need to give him for the other 19 baby teeth that yet to lose.
